/Yum Cha and Me
Talking about cultural identity. Yum Cha – literally means 'drink tea', an activity core to the Cantonese culture, popped up to me. More than having dim sum and Chinese tea, Yam Cha is about family and union. One side of this concertina fold of card is entitled My Dim Sum Family, where each of my family members are represented by a particular dim sum which discloses their characteristics and relationship with me. The other side is called The Secret To Yum Cha, where some rituals of Yum Cha that may not be known to many are revealed.
