Commissioned by Fashionary, Fashion Unfolded reimagines the fashion book as a spatial storytelling medium. Through dimensional pop-up compositions, fashion history is transformed into an immersive experience where iconic moments, timeless designs, and brand legacies unfold through movement and interaction.
Unified by a restrained design framework, each volume adopts the signature colour of its respective fashion house. A subtle elevation of the word “UP” within the title reinforces the publication’s dimensional quality and establishes a recognisable identity across the series.
Developed as the first titles in an expanding collection, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior each draw from the unique character of their respective fashion houses. Through a combination of typography, illustration, and paper engineering, every spread creates a tactile dialogue between content and form.
By merging editorial design with spatial interaction, Fashion Unfolded extends storytelling beyond the flat page into a tactile and immersive experience.
Designed in a pocket-sized format, Fashion Unfolded transforms fashion history into an accessible and collectible object. Small enough to be carried and shared, it brings the stories of iconic fashion houses into everyday moments.
Unified by a shared visual system, the series balances consistency with individuality. Each volume reflects the unique tone and character of its fashion house, while contributing to a cohesive identity that allows the collection to grow over time.
