Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is a world-leading publicly traded stock exchange company. To celebrate the Chinese New Year as a commitment to its founding values and focus on finance, an annual series of premium red packets were launched in 2021.

Blending its financial tone with Chinese tradition, the yearly designs interpret HKEX’s stock code (0388) into graphics inspired by auspicious Chinese symbols. The first set features firecrackers, a mark of happiness and good luck in Chinese culture. Appearing in four vibrantly festive colours, the number of colours also match the number of digits in the code. The red packets were finished with special printing effects and packaged into custom-made box sets for a premium and deluxe feel.
